Description
Description Built in 1956 by a member of the Dupont family, this lovely home combines elegance and refined sophistication, making it an easy choice for experiencing a fantastic Montego Bay vacation. The grounds include a tennis court, putting green, and a spacious grassy lawn with badminton and croquet; and fruit trees enhance the manicured lawns. Locally-crafted mahogany furniture reflects an old Jamaica ambiance, complemented by contemporary designer fabrics, a chefs kitchen, and Kohler en-suite bathrooms with water tiles. The large serpentine pool features an infinity waterfall edge, fountain, expansive stone terrace and divided shallow children's pool.
Candlelight dinners are served in an interior air-conditioned dining room where you may enjoy a view over the pool and its infinity edge to the sea beyond. Meals may also be served alfresco on the pool terrace - the excellent chef treats guests to fresh fish and grilled lobster, and everyone's favorite, jerk pork and chicken prepared on a jerk drum.
A flower-filled side courtyard with out-door shower offers a special hideaway for rejuvenating spa treatments on request, and the bedrooms are luxuriously comfortable. Guests of Great River House can also visit Round Hill resort for complimentary beach access, a jogging trail, and plenty of things to see and do, ranging from spa treatments and water sports to dining at fantastic restaurants.

- Pool heating is an additional $750 per week
- Complimentary Driver - As part of your minimum 5-night stay, we're pleased to offer complimentary transportation services facilitated by our trusted drivers, Goofy and Michael from Great River House. This includes airport transfers, transportation to The Tryall Club, excursions to both the west and east areas of Montego Bay (covering Tryall in the west and Rose Hall in the east), as well as one full-day excursion beyond these regions (excluding Kingston or Port Antonio).
